Matt Henderson, CFA, brings to Capital Investment Counsel fifteen years of experience in the investment management industry. His focus at CIC includes portfolio management and investment research. Matt also leads the firm's tactical investment approach, developing and monitoring CIC's intermediate term technical strategy.
Prior to joining CIC, Matt was a Portfolio Manager and Director of Research at a $300 million registered investment advisory firm in Phoenix. Additionally, he worked as an Assistant Portfolio Manager on the $23 billion Arizona State Retirement System pension fund and as a financial analyst at an investment software company. A member of the CFA Institute and Phoenix CFA Society, Matt has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, a globally recognized standard for measuring the competence and integrity of financial analysts. He holds a Finance degree from Arizona State University.
