With nearly 30 years of investment management experience, Chris Johnson founded and helped establish Capital Investment Counsel (CIC) as one of the largest wealth management firms in Colorado and Arizona, managing assets for high net worth individuals, corporations, foundations and public entities nationwide. Chris Johnson, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, has extensive knowledge of investments, tax, estate and retirement planning.
In addition, he is an expert on strategic alliances between CPA firms and money managers, having successfully launched CIC’s CPA Alliance program and published articles related to CPAs and money management in 24 states.
Chris holds degrees in Finance and Economics from Colorado State University, and is a member of the CFA Institute, the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and an affiliate member of the CFA Society of Colorado.
